HOW TO ACTIVATE YOUR DEAKIN IT ACCOUNT
Before you can be granted access to the various programs, applications or facilities at Deakin University, You must enable your Deakin Sync login and passcode.
If you’re a brand returning or new student, you’ll need to sign up for Your Deakin IT account. Before you do that, make sure you’ve received the invitation letter.
The letter of offer will come along with your student ID and a course code required to enable your Deakin IT account.

HOW TO RESET YOUR DEAKIN SYNC PASSWORD
If you need a reset your password and your information is not up-to-date, Follow the steps below:
1. Launch your web browser using a mobile or desktop device. Then proceed to Reset forgotten password webpage.
2. Choose ‘Student’ and enter your Student ID and Date of Birth.
3. Select your preferred way to retrieve code for the Deakin sync password reset. Then enter your email or phone number that is registered in StudentConnect and tap ‘Submit
4. Enter the verification code sent to you on the field and click Submit.
5. Enter your new password. Confirm again by re-entering the same password and tap ‘Set Password’.
6. Your Deakin sync student password has now been reset and you can start using it.
What is StudentConnect?
Student Connect provides you with online access to your enrollment details at the University. This includes:

- Graduation information.

What is the difference between CloudDeakin, StudentConnect, and DeakinSync?
Cloud Deakin can be your educational platform in the cloud. It has all the data you need regarding your course and classes. Assignments can be submitted via Cloud Deakin, and participate in discussions with fellow students and instructors.
Student Connect allows you to manage your enrolment information at Deakin, which includes your details, including course enrollment, fees, timetable and graduation details.

What is Deakin star?
The STAR (Student Timetable Allocation and Registration) is a customized timetable system that allows students in campus units to sign up for classes, seminars, and other events.
What is my deakin student email address?
The Deakin Student email is the username you created when you enrolled and is followed by “@deakin.edu.au”.
You can access your student’s email account through DeakinSync. Choose ‘Mail’ when you are in the mobile view.

A Deakin Card is essential and is an identification method when you’re on campus. Students who are enrolled in classes must carry the ID card for students on their person, and they will be required to have it during exams or in the library.
Students accepted to the university can apply online to get their Deakin Card. All they need to do is visit their Deakin StudentConnect form the Deakin Student Connect to fill out an application for the Deakin Card Identification application.
The card can be replaced if you lose the card, lose it, or even steal it through your Deakin Student Connect. Additionally, $20 will be incurred to obtain your replacement, Deakin Card. The charge could be waived in certain instances if you’ve lost your Deakin Card and some other valuable item.
ORDERING TRANSCRIPT AND STATEMENT OF RESULTS
Learn the difference between a declaration of result and an academic transcript. Statement of results is an informal record of your achievements and is available at no cost. In contrast, academic transcripts can be considered official documents of your studies at Deakin University.
The academic transcript will include many details like grades and dates of study, specializations, degrees, course majors, units, and any honours.

When you first sign up to My eQuals for only the first time, you’ll need to have an active email address that you can use to verify your account. However, the school recommends you use your Deakin email account is used to verify the account.
